Also available this weekend is the Tarte Tatin! This classic French dessert turns our Irish apple pie on it's head! For those of you partial to an apple tart enjoy these same flavours of sweetly sour apples from Annie Nolan's Veg Box in Newquay combined with a blanket of homemade puff pastry but there is a twist. The tatin brazenly and traditionally has the apples added to a caramel before it is topped with puff pastry and baked. Enjoy this seductive dessert with some luscious Vanilla Mascapone cream!
Warm in oven at 170 degrees for 10 minutes. Spoon the mascarpone on top and enjoy!
